In brief

What works, what to weigh

+

Strengths

4 reasons to book
  • Home-like suites with full kitchens — Every room has a kitchenette with a kettle, tea and coffee facilities, and a dining table—guests call them 'fully equipped' with cutlery, toaster, and fridge-freezer, so you can cook in rather than eat out each night.
  • Breakfast brought to your room — Instead of a standard buffet, breakfast is delivered to your suite each morning—one guest described a spread of toast, croissants, tea, coffee, juice, yoghurt, dulce de leche, and jams.
  • Helpful, hands-on staff — Guests consistently mention friendly and attentive staff, with one noting the owner went out of his way to book a horse riding trip and spoke good English.
  • Free parking on site — You don't have to worry about street parking or paid lots—the hotel has its own parking, which is a practical plus for anyone driving in Salta.

Worth weighing

4 to weigh
  • You'll need a taxi to reach the centre — The hotel is in a residential area, about a 10-minute drive from the main plaza. There are plenty of taxis, but you'll be relying on them or a car each day, which adds a small cost and a bit of planning.
  • Small-scale, few public spaces — With just a handful of rooms and no restaurant or lounge, it's more like staying in a private home than a full-service hotel. Guests who want a lobby bar or room service beyond breakfast won't find it here.
  • Check-in window is strict — Check-in is only available between 14:00 and 22:00. If your flight or drive arrives late, you'll need to coordinate arrival times carefully.
  • No pets allowed — The hotel doesn't accept animals, so you'll need to make other arrangements if you're travelling with a pet.

“The beds were comfy and the staff were friendly and ready to help. The room was spacious, nicely decorated, and had a full set of kitchenware for cooking. The location worked well, and we could always find taxis to reach the city centre.”

“A lovely little boutique hotel in a residential area, about 8 minutes by taxi from the main plaza. You'll need to rely on taxis to get out and about (around 15 pesos each trip). The suite came with air conditioning, a kitchen and sitting room fully stocked with cutlery, a toaster, fridge-freezer, coffee machine, kettle, and more. Bathroom towels were refreshed daily, and the bedroom had a safe, wardrobes, and a TV with plenty of channels. Breakfast was brought to the suite each morning: toast, croissants, tea, coffee, juice, yoghurt, dulce de leche, and jam. The staff were incredibly helpful and went out of their way for guests.”
